Wide Wall Method (Roadway Widening Method)

Road widening method completed simultaneously with block stacking.

This technology allows for an approximately 2-meter widening by being constructed in the same manner as conventional large block retaining walls, and it enables a lower wall height compared to traditional methods when widening roads in steep terrain. Additionally, it reduces the amount of excavation needed, making it environmentally friendly and promising cost reductions. Received the 11th National Land Technology Development Award in FY 2009 [Regional Contribution Technology Award].
